We are above all else a story of immigrants. In a time where we fall victim to xenophobia and hatred our shared human experiences make us have far more in common than what separates us. Every immigrant has left their unique footprint on American life and demonstrates that though we all have singular stories our destinies are shared.

Latinos have been an asset to American life. From diversifying the American dinner table to constructing the agricultural industry Latinos have been a force of change. Known to be the fastest growing ethnic group in America Latinos possess a history similar to every American.

There is nothing more inspiring than seeing an underdog upset improbable odds. Whether you struggle to find your place being the only person with your identity in the room or want to see how your life can add value to a greater purpose then unlocking your true potential is for you.

The Hispanic community is the fastest growing minority group in STEAM. They have diversified research labs, newsrooms, and diplomatic roundtables. The importance of getting more Hispanics to pursue engineering, science, mathematics, and liberal arts is the key to redefine the Latino narrative.

I perform research on US involvement in East Asia. I disclose the importance of the rise and development of the region, its importance to the world, how the US plays a role in the region, and why it will be the future of economic innovation.
